What’s in Defrogger?
Two plant-based ingredients: a coconut-derived base and fruit sugars. No alcohol, no synthetic surfactants, no fragrance, and no dyes.
Is Defrogger reef-safe?
Yes. It’s made from two plant ingredients and is 100% biodegradable, so it doesn’t leave alcohol or synthetic soaps in the water.
Does it sting your eyes?
It contains no alcohol and no synthetic surfactants, the usual causes of stinging from defog and baby shampoo. As with anything, avoid spraying directly into your eyes.
How do I apply it?
Spray 2–3 pumps on the inside of a dry lens, wait 30–60 seconds, dip the mask briefly in water and shake gently. Don’t wipe or touch the lens afterward. Between dives, rinse and respray.
My mask is brand new. Will it work?
New masks have a factory film on the glass that causes fog no matter what you use. Scrub it off first with a mask cleaner or non-gel toothpaste, rinse well, then apply Defrogger.
How long does a bottle last?
A 4 oz bottle lasts about 100 dives, so the 2-pack covers roughly 200.
Does it work for snorkeling, freediving, and swim goggles?
