This Privacy Policy explains what information Defrogger collects when you visit defrogger.com or buy our products, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Who we are

Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Contact form: your name, email address, subject and message.
  • Email sign-up: your email address (and name, if provided) when you choose to join our mailing list.
  • Blog comments: the name, email address and comment you submit, plus your IP address and browser details to help detect spam.
  • Orders: checkout is handled by SamCart on its own secure pages. SamCart and its payment processors collect your name, email, shipping and billing address and payment details. We receive the order details we need to ship and support your order. We never see or store your full card number.

Information collected automatically

  • Usage data through Google Analytics (via Google Site Kit): pages viewed, time on site, referring site, device and browser type, and approximate location derived from your IP address.
  • Technical and security data our hosting and content-delivery providers log, such as IP address and request details, to keep the site running and protect it from abuse.

How we use your information

  • To process, ship and support your orders, including returns under our 30-day guarantee
  • To answer your questions and wholesale inquiries
  • To send emails you opted into; every email has an unsubscribe link
  • To understand how the site is used and improve it
  • To prevent fraud and spam and to meet legal obligations

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share it only with service providers that help us run the business, under their own privacy terms:

  • SamCart and its payment processors (checkout and payments)
  • Shipping carriers (delivering your order)
  • Google (website analytics)
  • Constant Contact (email, if you sign up)
  • Our website host and content-delivery/security providers

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, customers or others.

Cookies and analytics

We use cookies set by Google Analytics to measure site traffic. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Our site does not currently respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals.

How long we keep it

We keep order records as long as needed for shipping, returns, accounting and tax purposes. We keep contact messages and email-list data until you ask us to delete them or unsubscribe.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing scott@diverobotix.com. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time. Depending on where you live (for example California or Nevada), you may have additional rights under state law; we will honor valid requests as the law requires. Nevada residents may submit a request to opt out of the sale of covered information, although we do not sell it.

Security

The site uses HTTPS, and payments are processed on SamCart’s secure checkout. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

Children

Our site and products are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when it was last changed.
